A-1 Carpet Cleaning Is the Experienced Local Drapery Cleaning Company
Experience and integrity are the cornerstones of any good business. Not all drapery cleaning companies know the best techniques to treat each type of fabric. With years in the business, I do. When you’re looking to hire a professional, then look no further. I will discuss with you my cleaning processes and solutions. I can tell the difference between cashmere and cotton. I am the man for the job.
In-Home Drapery Steam Cleaning
I offer both dry cleaning and in-home drapery steam cleaning. The fabric and the type of drapes both help me determine the appropriate method.
No matter the approach, a professional touch makes a difference. You might assume that all materials can withstand a gentle spin cycle in your washing machine, but that’s far from true. Regardless of material type, trying to get it to hang the same way you're used to may be impossible; cleaning them where they hang is the solution to that! Here is some common drapery material that I have experience cleaning.
Cotton is a resilient material. Between professional cleanings, you can wash cotton drapes manually. If you do it in your machine on a gentle cycle they'll probably come out perfectly clean, but you may never again get them to hang the way you prefer. You should not wash cotton curtains if they have a lining.
Wool usually needs to be professionally dry cleaned to prevent shrinkage or other problems. You might risk using Woolite if you can rinse it in the sink, but again re-hanging them is the great difficulty.
These need to be cleaned more frequently, since dirt buildup is easier to spot. Our professional cleaners clean them with the utmost gentleness. More frequent vacuuming is very helpful, but also tedious.
No matter what kind of fabric they’re made of, pleated drapes must be cleaned by a professional when your own attempts fail. Agitating the seams and linings can ruin the curtains’ shape, making them unusable. With my cleaning service, your drapes will retain their color and shape. You can rest assured that your drapes will hang gorgeously, in their full length and form, because they will not be disturbed.
Commercial Drapery Cleaning Maintenance
For routine cleaning maintenance, rather than using a vacuum over your curtains to remove some of the dust and allergens, schedule routine cleaning maintenance with A-1 Carpet Cleaning. I'll handle your drapes with care, assuring to never damage the fabric and won’t risk any tearing.
That said, some maintenance methods only partially cleans them, allowing some invisible allergens, bacteria, and even mold to get left behind. My professional drapery cleaners and tools and techniques ar necessary for a truly deep clean. This leaves the fabric looking fresh while also improving air quality.
